May AnnouncementsREMINDER: Students must sign up by Wednesday of each week to receive a Certificate of Attendance to obtain a driver's license. Certificates will be given on Thursdays.
The school board policy for absentees as they apply to exemptions has been changed. Absences used to determine exemption must be excused. If a student has any unexcused absentees in a class, he/she cannot be exempt from that class. Also, he/she has only two days after the absence to change an unexcused absence to an excused one.
Graduation will be Saturday, May 22, at the ICC-Davis Event Center at 7:00 p.m. The group picture will be taken in the stands. Be there by 6:15! Graduation dress requirements: Boys wear dark pants and dark shoes--no khakis, and a white button-down shirt with tie--no white socks; girls wear dark shoes or dark sandals and a dress.
Graduation pictures will be taken between 12:00-3:00 on Friday, May 21, at the Davis Event Center. Graduation practice will be May 21 at 4:00. If you intend to walk through graduation with your class, you must be present.
May 21 is a Professional Development Day (No Students).
May 20 is the last day for students and is a 60% day.
Regular Exams will be May 17-20.
Junior High Awards Day will be Thursday, May 13, at 1:15 p.m., in the Corral.
High School Awards Night will be Thursday, May 13, at 6:00 p.m., in the Corral.
Tuesday, May 12, will be the last regular day for seniors. Senior Exams will be May 12-14.
Caps & Gowns will be given out Tuesday morning, May 11.
Permission forms for the GADD party are due by May 7th. Please return signed forms as soon as you can!
GADD t-shirt forms are due May 7th. Cost is $8.
The deadline for the June 12 ACT is May 7.
Class rings will be delivered Wednesday, May 5. Balances are due at that time.
The Athletic Banquet will be Tuesday, May 4 at 6:30 in the MHS Cafeteria.
Food drive for needy families! Please bring food to Mrs. Connie's room. Deadline is May 1st. |
