AnnouncementsApril 2010 REMINDER: Students must sign up by Wednesday of each week to receive a Certificate of Attendance to obtain a driver's license. Certificates will be given on Thursdays.
The school board policy for absentees as they apply to exemptions has been changed. Absences used to determine exemption must be excused. If a student has any unexcused absentees in a class, he/she cannot be exempt from that class. Also, he/she has only two days after the absence to change an unexcused absence to an excused one.
The Athletic Banquet will be Tuesday, May 4 at 6:30 in the MHS Cafeteria. Anyone wishing to buy a ticket needs to see Coach Loague by Friday, April 23. Tickets for athletes are $5 and are $15 for guests.
Food drive for needy families! Please bring food to Mrs. Connie's room. Deadline is May 1st.
If you are interested in the Three Rivers Planning & Development Program's Summer Youth Work Program, you must apply online at http://www.trpdd.com/.
Join the Lee County Sheriff's Department Explorer Post on Tuesday, April 27, and Thursday, April 29, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., at the Lee County Sheriff's Department. For more information, call Robby Parham at 213-7268.

Junior High Football Jamboree Thursday, April 22, beginning at 5:00.
Any girls in grades 8-11 who want to try out for High School Basketball need to sign up by April 22 in Coach Hamilton's room.
BBQ by Jim plates will be sold April 20 from 4:30-7:00 p.m. Cost is $8, and proceeds to go GADD.
Any students in grades 7 and 8 who would like to participate in the 2010 Summer Health Academy need to see Mr. Credille for an application. The deadline is April 16.
Progress Reports go out April 15.
Spring Picture orders are due no later than April 12.
Career Day is April 9 for grades 9-12.
Wednesday, April 7, is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 12:01.
Mantachie Idol will be April 5 @ 6:30 in the MHS gym. See Mrs. Franks or the office to pick up entry forms. Admission is $3.00.
